Change: noun. to transform or convert.
We live our lives trying to fit in or conform to our societies "norms." Throughout high school, my life consisted of changing myself in order to be accepted by those who had "more authority" over me.
Authority: noun. the power to determine, adjudicate, or otherwise settleissues or disputes; jurisdiction; the right to control,command, or determine.
I would let myself be controlled by my peers, and let myself give in to what they said. I was their marionette. I let them control my words, my thoughts, and at times my actions. The way they acted, the way they were, became who I was. I was a carbon copy of the sin that walked the halls of my school.
Control: noun. to exercise restraint or direction over; dominate; command.
Why not let our lives be controlled by someone who matters. Someone who gave everything to set us free. God. He loved us before we loved Him. We are saved by His grace, and His mercies are new each day. I never realized how much He gave for me until I decided to make a change and take a stand. Why not live life for Him who matters? Think about it & make a positive change.
